“ I went on a recent trip to New York, and found this gem for dinner without a reservation, for a group of 9! Classic Italian menu, with wine pairings and excellent service. I ordered the Bucatini and loved every minute of it. Everyone enjoyed every dish, and that's quite the accomplishment! ”
“ We went with 12 people 3 days before Christmas. The staff was professional and courteous from host to main server to back wait staff. The food was spectacular. All appetizers. All entrees. Presentation was beautiful. Taste was phenomenal. We have a favorite Italian place uptown and have dined at many others but this restaurant is at the top of my list. Cocktails were divine. I'm fairly certain they have the best espresso martini I've ever had. Anywhere. Don't hesitate to try this place! ”
“ Dennis was amazing the moment we walked into this restaurant at 3 pm on a Sunday, a week before Christmas!! The reason I'm specifically giving this detail is because of overly crowded the streets of NYC are during the holidays. Very accommodating staff, great ambiance, food and overall great experience. Highly recommend. ”
“ Quick in and out when you have a reservation (which is easy to book online). Food and drinks were good. Enjoyed the Christmas decorations in late November, felt homey on the inside. ”
“ Had dinner at this Italian restaurant. Ambiance is a traditional Italian place, quite dark, spacious enough. Ordered the following: Calamari with marinara sauce (light, airy, soft - just exactly how I want it to be) Squid ink pasta and frutti di mare Serving size is good. Our server was nice and we were seated right away with any reservations. ”
“ Amazing food and service in a totally charming atmosphere. We ordered the pizza and understood what makes New York Pizza special. Would run back there next time we are in town ”
“ When I saw my previous review, I cannot believe I gave them 3-stars, when this ended up being one of my favorite meals during my stay. I will admit I was considering Serendipity 3, but I didn't feel like taking the walk/subway to get there since I just arrived in town. After checking out Pasta Lover's website, I wanted to see if any fees were added to a delivery order (I never get food delivered back home, but was willing to take the risk while on vacation). Pleasantly surprised that there were zero fees, my order was exactly what it would have been had I been sitting down in their establishment. The only downfall was me at fault; I had altered the address slightly where I was staying, so this was delayed and I felt so bad for the delivery guy. The doorman and I kept an eye out though and finally, a younger guy in a hoodie came in. I apologized for my mistake, gave him some cash, and we were on our way. Order and packaging was perfect where everything was still warm. I savored all of this deliciousness since it's been so long. There wasn't a section online where you could make changes (normally I have spaghetti with my bolognese) but the world wasn't going to end with the now default rigatoni. Ginger ale can didn't even have a dent (this was delivered via bike). I forgot to add utensils but the hotel let me help myself to a fork. I also didn't even need parmesan cheese since what I had on its own was so good, just as I remember it last time. To be honest, ALL of my meals on this trip were favorites, but this was the only repeat from the past, and will be on a future one as well. 5-star worthy! ”
“ Good place to go while waiting for a show given its proximity to Radio City. Portions are large and sizable and service is friendly although food can be a bit slow to arrive. The mussels were a great item to share, although the marinara sauce is a bit one-tone. Seats are comfortable, and you can easily get a reservation at any time which makes this an easy backup for other restaurants in the area. ”
